Traffic and Weather

Today we slept in a bit and then headed to the Getty Center. Cool architecture, great views, and, you know, art. Then we cruised around Santa Monica and Hollywood. Rodeo Dr, Sunset Blvd, Hollywood Blvd... You name it, we cruised it--with iPhones at the ready and KROQ on the radio. We also made a scheduled stop at Amoeba Music, the nation's largest independent record store. While that could have spelled disaster for cd-happy travelers such as ourselves, we managed to escape after only 30-40 minutes and a reasonable yet undisclosed sum of money expended. Now we're heading to the Dodgers-Angels game about 30 miles away in Anaheim. At 4:30 on a Friday, it should take us no time at all... And by "no time" I mean two hours.
